I'm Mama. I was born and raised in North Florida and I'm still here. I married my Colombian husband when I was 18 and eight years later we had our little American/Colombian son. Getting married that young was never the plan, for either of us. But I guess when you know...you just know. It was the best decision I've ever made, besides deciding to become a mother, of course.
I was a history teacher for middle schoolers and now I am happy to be a stay at home mom. Mixing our American and Colombian cultures together has been and is an amazing experience to say the least. Ultimately, we hope to raise our children with the best of both worlds!
